These Pages will now hold our "Singers of the Month" from each place that JVR Productions does Karaoke,

These will be a bios, pictures, and or videos of our singers, so that we can get to know each other. If you are selected, feel free to use your bio and video to promote yourself as a singer by giving this URL to others.

Singers of the month will be picked for participation in our shows first. We want to highlight people who enhance our shows by just being good folks first and foremost. To some degree all of us who sing karaoke are self promoters, and that is a good thing. Still, those of us who lift everyone else up too, ought to get recognized.

Oh, and yes, we want to recognize our best singers too, so as a special treat, our show which will begin in late August at the Big Stars Club (click on this link) have a chance to be picked by qualified community judges to sing at a Friday Night (By Invitation Only) Show at that venue. Further Still, out of that bunch of singers will come auditions to perform professionally at the club.

Like most of us Jimbo was not always a singer, karaoke or otherwise. He was however like many of us also, always into music.

Early on he played guitar when he wasn't playing sports. Slow pitch softball became a passion that he shares with his music even today, playing on teams and in tournaments all around the Fort Worth area. Last year for example he played on a very successful "Cowtown Texas Saloon" team. You can still find him running out a fly ball or cruising the bases after a home run on given nights at a local diamond.

A little over two years ago life changed in a big way for Jimbo. A friend got him to sing Karaoke, and you know the rest. Can anyone say "King of Karaoke" Ha! Aren't all of us who sing several times a week. Jimbo and his lovely wife Darlene come to our shows at different places several times a week. They especially like it if the place has a pool table, but singing is clearly what he is there for. We do share Jimbo with other Karaoke places, but we consider him one of ours for the way he never meets a stranger. He is a true asset to any of our shows. Thanks, Jimbo, for being a brother in karaoke and a friend.
